Anyone wishing to draw an old-age or survivor's pension must register their claim. As a rule, the application must be submitted to the compensation office where contributions were last paid.
Without written registration, the compensation funds cannot calculate and pay out benefits,
- because they do not know the addresses of their insured persons;
- because marital status affects pensions and this can change;
- because insured persons must inform the compensation offices whether they wish to draw their pension early or defer it;
- because insured persons must provide the payment address.
The registration forms are available online and at each compensation office.
The registration forms are available under following link: Old-age pension application form (admin.ch) - language can be chosen. The forms must then be submitted to the compensation office where contributions were last paid in. For Swiss Re employees, this is the compensation office 81 Insurance, see https://www.ak81.ch/formulare
