Jan Heckler is going to be new president of the pension fund's investment committee

After 23 years at Swiss Re in numerous functions, most recently as Head IS & A, Pascal Zbinden has decided to leave Swiss Re at the end of June. This also includes his 7 years of work as a member of the investment committee of the Swiss Re Pension Fund and, from 2020, in the role of president of the investment committee. We would like to thank Pascal for his significant contribution to ensuring that the pension fund can now count on efficient and effective asset management.

We are pleased to have found an excellent successor in Jan Heckler for the office of President of the Investment Committee of the Swiss Re Pension Fund. Jan Heckler joined Swiss Re in 1995, took on the role of Head Business Services Asset Management in 2012 and has been Chief Operating Officer Asset Management since 2020.

He holds a Master's degree in Economics and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

With Jan Heckler, the board of trustees receives an excellent expert who has extensive experience in the areas of asset management, strategic planning, compliance und governance and optimization of operational processes. We look forward to his willingness to support the Swiss Re Pension Fund and to working with him.
